Sultry Sweets by Sandy started as a dream long before the doors first opened on November 16, 2016. This dream followed me all throughout my childhood. As I traveled various parts of the world, I was rather intrigued by learning about various cultures, and customs. This pushed me to learn as much as I possibly could. The long, slow fermentation process that I learned helped me to utilize various skills that I learned, and it also allowed me to expand on those very same skills. I spent years experimenting, mixing science and intuition. I would bake for my children, their friends, my family, and pretty much anyone. This allowed me to gather input on what people thought of my desserts. To me, making various desserts is simply being an artist. For example, I look at a naked cake or dessert as an open canvas. This allows me to create whatever comes to mind and I absolutely LOVE IT! After a decade or so went by, I felt that I had slowly gained the experience and confidence necessary to bring Sultry Sweets by Sandy Bakery to life.
