Sultry Sweets by Sandy started as a dream long before the doors first opened on November 16, 2016. This dream followed me all throughout my childhood. As I traveled various parts of the world, I was rather intrigued by learning about various cultures, and customs. This pushed me to learn as much as I possibly could. The long, slow fermentation process that I learned helped me to utilize various skills that I learned, and it also allowed me to expand on those very same skills. I spent years experimenting, mixing science and intuition. I would bake for my children, their friends, my family, and pretty much anyone. This allowed me to gather input on what people thought of my desserts. Â To me, making various desserts is simply being an artist. For example, I look at a naked cake or dessert as an open canvas. This allows me to create whatever comes to mind and I absolutely LOVE IT! After a decade or so went by, I felt that I had slowly gained the experience and confidence necessary to bring Sultry Sweets by Sandy Bakery to life.
